Daughter of jazz pianist Abdullah Ibrahim, Legendary female MC Jean Grae (Tsidi Ibrahim) has gained an enviable reputation over the past 2 decades within a league of artists such as The Roots, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Pharoahe Monch & Common. Her early Career was spent was as a member of unsung mid nineties underground NY group Natural Resource, penning classics like “Negro League Baseball” & “Bum Deal”. Natural Resource dissolved in 1998 and Jean took the new name “WHAT WHAT”, recording and touring with The Roots, Talib Kweli, Pharohe Monch , The High & Mighty & The Herbaliser among others.
She will be celebrating her latest mixtape and it will no doubt be a great show.
